Pheonix Variations

Even though pheonixes may not have very physical variations they do have some elemental ones. For example a fire Pheonix has feathers and it is still shaped like a bird, but it is fire related while a shadow Pheonix is still a bird, retains feathers ect. but, has shadow elemental. Same for the ice pheonix, water pheonix and terra pheonix. All fire pheonixes are said to rise from ashes. All these different kinds off pheonixes supposedly hate each other. Have lots of pictures today. Enjoy. This is sign off.

Pheonixes & Dragons in History

Hey peeps. Coming in for a checkup. Dragons aren't commonly associated with historybut some people of history are associated with dragons per say. Alexander the Great claimed to be the son of a dragon. Chinese, Korean, and Japanese emporers are said to be descendants of dragons. Marco Polo claimed to have seen them in hios travels through Asia, Leonardo Da Vinci, who is said to be one of the greatest minds of all time, drew dragons! The Native Americans across north America claimed to have a Thunder Bird (pheonix). The Aztecs and Mayan had the feathered dragon Quetzalcoatl. Even the Inca had the winged feathered dragon. Even the Egyptians, forever known as the first world power, smartest empire, second longest lasting empire (China being the 1st), one of the most cultured empires, some say the most advanced in their times, had Apep their giant demon snake who tried to eat Ra every evening. Therefore even the all powerful Egyptians had their version of thge dragon. Now I ask you; How could all these cultures have a legend of dragons or pheonixes unless these magnificient creatures existed?! For all you doubtes out there these legends should show you that something like dragons or pheonixes had to have existed!

Luck or Lose?

In every culture a dragon is either health or hindrance. Asian culutures usually associate dragons with luck, plenty, and health while European cultures usually picture them as mindless beasts. While all cultures that do have a Pheonix picture them as lucky Dragons are perceived with mixed reviews so to speak. Even in the Asian cultures where Dragins are usually seen a lucky there is a cruelness to the dragons if they are not appeased and the Japanese legend of Yamata no Orochi also known as just Orochi involves the god of sea and storms, Susanoo, slaying the evil dragon. But most versions of the Pheonix involve luck and plenty. Examples of the curse surroundign dragons would be Beowulf, Apep, Gorynych, Krak, Knucker, Orochi, St. George & the Dragon, Wyvern, Fafnir, Jawzahr, Ladon, Glaurung, Hungarian Horntail, Luckdragon, Norwegian Ridgeback, Smaug, and Quetzalcoatl. Please do not ask me to spell that again. Here is a list of different dragons, if they are luck or lose, if they are dead, and where they come from: (*means fictional)

Sorry but this is a large list and now I'll answer some personal questions. Yes I'm a girl. No I'm not crazy. Yes I like the study of Dragons, Pheonixes, & Egyptology. No mostly what I put on here is fact. And yes I do beleive dragons have existed but I do not think we'll see one anytime soon beause if you have not noticed the huge list almost all the Dragons of old so to speak are dead. Yes there has been Evidence of real dragons but as I said before they may be very much extinct. Good Luck on whatever you may be doing. This is Sign off.

Breifing.

All cultures have a myth surrounding giant snakes, lizards,or birds. My alias is Sekhmet for those of you who don't know who or what Sekhmet was I'll answer that for you. Sekhmet was the lioness-headed goddess of war in Anceint Egypt. I don't intend to reveal my real name for sake of the mystery. Dragons are not the only creature I cover but, I also cover Phoenixes. Dragons and Phoenixes are different but not by much. Dragons have scales and  can or cannot breathe fire depending on the culture but Phoenixes are feathered and always have something to do with thunder, ice , shadow, or fire. Dragons may be serpent or lizard shaped and may or may not have legs. Phoenixes usually have legs and are bird shaped. Phoenixes and Dragons have alot to do with the sun, moon, and Equality so to speak. Ok every post I will post a pic and usually they will be on a Poenix or dragon but in this case I'll put up a nice picture of Sekhmet. But in my post Dragons are Dragons but, may not be what we think of as Dragons some may even be flying serpents but they do fall into the catagory of Dragons. You can pick out a Dragon from a Phoenix because Phoenixes usually stay very related. So This is another sign off I wish you luck on whatever you may be doing today so. Bon Voyage. Adios. Arevior. Bye. This is Sekhmet signing out. Peace.

New to this

Hello everyone who may or may not be reading this. I always wanted to do a blog but for those of you who do not know what Draco means. It is Latin for dragon. For those of you who have read about dragons I really don't have to tell you a whole lot. This is my first time blogging so if I mess up just bear with me. I'm warning you now those of you who probably aren't listening I tend to ramble or get off track. So if I do try to pay attention. I have a nice pic for you who enjoy Dragons and other  mythical or not reptilian/bird creatures. For those of you who are wondering what the giant bird is below I'll answer your questions and tell you that it is a Phoenix. Lovely birds and the myths surrounding them are mostly cool to. So This is my sign off hope you like the pic
